10 Billion- Whats on your plate is a German documentary directed by Valentin Thurn in 2015. After the great success of the film "taste the waste", Valentin Thurn created another great masterpiece. In 2015 this documentary was the most viewed documentary in German cinemas. It has also won several awards such as the "Best Documentary Film" in Sweden. This film focuses on the issues humankind will face in 30 years time regarding food supply due to the increase of the world's population.

For our screeing we will be showing "10 billion- Whats on your plate" (Orginal title in German: 10 Milliarden- Wie werden wir alle satt?)

In 2050 the Earth's population will have reached around 10 billion people. Valentin Thurn displays possible solutions to one of human's biggest problems in the future: How to feed 10 billion people?
