After five seasons of incredible competition and growth, the FIA World Endurance Championship has matured into one of the world’s most entertaining and respected motor sport series. Top level multi-manufacturer participation, some of the very best drivers in the world, intense competition from start to finish, plus entertainment for all the family: these are some of the WEC’s trademarks which have been established and seen around the world.
2017 promises to deliver another spectacular season of racing, with 28 top-class international entries across the four categories of competition (LMP1, LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am) racing plus a stable calendar which features nine races held across Europe, Latin and North America, Asia and the Middle East. The WEC includes manufacturer teams from current World Champions Porsche (in both LMP1 and LMGTE Pro), Toyota, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Ford, with BMW already committed to join the GTE ranks in 2018.
Welcome to endurance racing, welcome to our world!!
