This program is introducing elaborate patterns, where a set of basic knowledge about pattern making is required. The blazer pattern with a variety shapes, lapels and collars, the trousers patterns with different fits and shapes, the dresses pattern with different design elements, pleats, and volumes, will be introduced through drafting exercises, pleating and darts manipulation.

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES
• Understand the three dimensional shapes of female body and create volumes using the darts and creative style lines.
• Acquire the ability to develop creative designs by manipulating the basic blocks.
• Acquire the ability to develop pattern interpretations according to the style lines and volumes of a sketch
