Let’s go…tackle the longest Via Ferrata in China!!!

Looking for a CHALLENGE?!  We’ve already tackled the via ferrata in Xianju, so we’re taking it to the next level.  Will be heading to Yandang Mountain where we will be hooked up to steel cables and set out to conquer the longest via ferrata in the country, taking an awesome hike through nature, checking out an ancient village, spectacular views, and more!

Day 1

14:19 – Our train departs to Yandang Mountain

18:04 – Pick up at the train station and head over to our guesthouse (freetime to explore the town + dinner on your own)

Day 2

07:00 – Simple Western breakfast

08:00 – Head over to start our via ferrata challenge

09:00 – Via Ferrata training (RouteA/B) & preparation

09:30 – Via Ferrata time!!! Walk along cliffs and climb rocks, while taking in some breathtaking views! 12:00 – Picnic with your favorite food

14:00 – Complete our challenge and head over to an ancient village

16:00 – Return to our guest house in town

17:00 – Local specialty dinner

18:00 – Relax after an intense day, chill out in the town, or head over to the night viewing point of Ling Peak (optional: 40 RMB / ticket)

Day 3

07:00 – Simple Western breakfast
08:00 – Check out and head out for a 2 hour trek with awesome mountain scenery, checkout an ancient Buddhist temple (Jingming Temple)

12:30 – Local specialty lunch
15:00 – Catch our train back to Shanghai
