Renowned Irish stand-up comedian Aidan Killian is coming to Shanghai!
A legend of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he quit life as an investment banker to become a comedian known for “consistently writing and performing the most committed, knottiest, issue-comedy shows”.
Aidan is a passionate comedian, bold enough to tackle subjects that others do not dare to mention but with enough charm and humour to get away with it. He asks the challenging questions, such as “Would you die for what you believe in?” and answers it, “Yes. If I was ninety.”
He has made appearances on BBC, Russia Today, RTE, Channel 4, 98fm, 4fm, Spin fm, Bali Spirit Festival and the Vodafone Comedy Festival. He has also performed at peace festivals in the Middle East and Northern Ireland and as a ‘highlight’ at Glastonbury Festival. A grass-roots comedian and people-lover, he once left the stage at Electric Picnic, Ireland's largest festival, to initiate a giant group hug.
He is one of Ireland’s most travelled comedians having sold out rooms in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Byron Bay, Sydney, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Netherlands and the USA.
And now Aidan is bringing his latest show ‘Imposter Syndrome’ to China, touring in November with the Shanghai Comedy Club to Hangzhou on the 14th, Wuhan on the 16th, Xiamen on the 17th, Beijing on the 18th, Xi’an on the 22nd and finishing up in Shanghai on the 23rd at CAGES Bar and Sports.
