September 22-24: Let's go... hiking and see giant pandas!

On this awesome 3-day trip, we will be hiking around the original landscape and beautiful scenery of Bifengxia (literally, Green Peak Gorge) and exploring its valleys and waterfalls, visiting the adorable pandas at the Bifengxia Panda Breeding Center, seeing an ancient town that was once an important stop on the Silk Road, enjoying special local cuisine, and more!!!

We will be heading to one of the coolest places on earth…

and explore one of the most beautiful locations...

Dates: September 22-24 (Saturday to Monday over the Mid Autumn Festival Holiday weekend)

Day 1 – Saturday, September 22

Take flight to Chengdu Airport

14:00 - Transfer to Bifengxia (+/- 2hr min)

16:00 - Put away our luggage and start hiking from Bifengxia up to the guest house along a hidden trail (+/- 2.5 hrs)

19:00 - Dinner

Overnight at local guest house.

Day 2 – Sunday, September 23

8:30 - Departure for Bifengxia Panda Breeding center and then hike on another hidden trail around Bifengxia with local villager (+/- 3 hr)

After lunch, walk around the Western Valley inside the scenic area (+/- 2.5 hours)

19:00 - Dinner

Overnight at local guest house.

Day 3 – Monday, September 24

7:30 - Breakfast

8:30 - Drive to Shangli Ancient Town

12:00 - Simple lunch and then transfer back to Chengdu Airport (+/- 2.5 hr)

Take flight back home after our awesome trip!
