Stockport-based band Blossoms are made up of Tom Ogden (vocals), Charlie Salt (bass), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar), Joe Donovan (drums), and Myles Kellock (keyboard).
Since forming in 2013, Blossoms have enjoyed consistent success. They were on the BBC's Sound Of new music list for 2016. Their 2016 self-titled debut full length scored a first Number One on the Official UK Albums Chart and went on to earn the band Brit Award and Mercury Prize nominations to add to a series of magazine covers and poll nominations.
After at a slew of wildly received headline shows through the world, smashed out festival sets at the likes of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, T in the Park, supported the likes of The Stone Roses, The Last Shadow Puppets and The Kooks. Blossoms have firmly cemented their status as ones-to-watch.
2018, Blossoms announced the details of their second album “Cool Like You”. Released through Virgin EMI on the 27th April, “Cool Like You” is like a cinematic joyride through the best movie you've never watched. Each song is a new scene, a different colour - with the same plot running through it. This new record is an emphatic statement of intent. A brilliantly cohesive storyline of an album. There's no hint of sophomore struggle or identity crisis - this is Blossoms, and you are dared not to fall in love. Sold out winter UK tour in a few minutes, Blossoms will be back to Asia in this November, and make their first ever mainland China shows in Beijing and Shanghai.
