Conductor: Li Xincao
LI Xincao, the first Chinese conductor invited to perform at the Vienna State Opera, has performed in each of the five continents in the world. The music groups he has worked with include the Vienna State Opera, Wiener Symphoniker and other world celebrated orchestras.
When he was 20 years old, he cooperated with famous orchestras, including the former Central Orchestra (now China National Symphony Orchestra) and Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and performed Verdi’s opera La Traviata and the Chinese opera The New Wilderness.
From 1994 to 1996, he served as the chief conductor of the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra and conducted numerous performances of Chinese and foreign classic ballet dramas. In 1997, as assistant conductor of Hagge, he performed with the world-famous Vienna State Opera for a tour in China.

The China National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO) is a national orchestra established from the former Central Orchestra (founded in 1956) with support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in 1996. Directly subordinated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, it consists of three art production units - the symphony orchestra, chorus and Beijing Concert Hall.
