A Chinese craft gin, triple distilled and bottled in the ancient Chinese city of Changsha, Hunan province. Crimson Pangolin lovingly blends a unique combination of local oriental ingredients to create an aromatic drinking experience.
The first edition of Crimson Pangolin was bought to market in late December 2017, by two Shanghai expats, David Munoz and Helena Kidacka, with the vision of bringing the flavours of China to the world, via the medium of gin.
Since then, they have expanded their gin empire into four editions, all using oriental ingredients.
Crimson Pangolin can be found nationwide across China, and in numerous locations in Central and Eastern Europe.

Oak Barrel Edition
Crimson Pangolin Oak Barrel Edition possesses all the unique qualities of the original Crimson Pangolin gin, with it’s fragrant and delightfully citrusy and subtly spicy aroma. The original gin is made with ingredients exclusively from Mainland China, which include a blend of Hunan Spices, Sichuan peppercorns, lemon peel from Hainan provence and Hunan coriander seeds. The junipers we use are grown and farmed in Shandong provence.
The Oak Barrel Edition is then finished in oak barrels, giving the gin an underlying vanilla and orange quality that complements its junipery, citrusy and delicately spicy nature.
PEACH ROSE EDITION
Triple distilled and bottled in the ancient Chinese city of Changsha, Hunan province, Crimson Pangolin Peach Rose Edition is a tribute to one of the Middle Kingdom’s best loved pastimes and exports, tea.
Using a unique blend of rose tea, dried hibiscus, lychee black tea along with a combination of dried fruit teas such as peach, apple and orange peel, this floral gin makes for an aromatic drinking experience. Our junipers are grown and farmed in Shandong, Northeastern China.
Crimson Pangolin Peach Rose Edition is best served with tonic and ice, with either rose petals, an orange slice, or a sprig of rosemary for garnish
Black Goji & Jasmine Edition
Triple distilled and bottled in the ancient Chinese city of Changsha, Hunan province, Crimson Pangolin Black Goji & Jasmine Edition is a tribute to one of the Middle Kingdom’s best loved pastimes and exports, tea.
Made with a unique blend of classic Chinese botanicals including jasmine tea, lotus root and fragrant lemon peel from Hainan. The captivating deep blue of the gin comes from the natural colouring properties of the black goji berry from Qinghai, Western China. This intriguing botanical also acts as a natural indicator, so when tonic is added, the liquid will turn from a deep blue to mystical shade of purple. Our junipers are grown and farmed in Shandong, Northeastern China.
Crimson Pangolin Black Goji & Jasmine Edition is best served with tonic and ice, with either lemon peel, black goji berries or kaffir lime leaves for garnish.
