“When I started creating the 'Circle Story', I just wanted to create a big circle of emotions and relationships and point out some problems with the era we are living in”, said Lai Shengchuan, the directer of Circle Story.

 

Back in 1987, the show “Circle Story” was wrote by Lai, based on the drama “La Ronde” by Schnitzler (1862 - 1931). There are seven main characters in the “Circle Story”, all of which are tightly connected with each other, bringing up a complicated but appealing show to the audience.

 

Taiwan food is a big element in this show, snacks like Rice with Stewed Pork, Oyster Omelet and Chicken Rolls are frequently mentioned.
