Ytem is a composer, producer, and DJ currently based in Paris, France. He has crafted his own voice within the experimental club music scene with his productions and DJ sets combining cinematic melodies and rough hardstyle-inspired drums, sometimes akin to an horror show score.

An enigmatic figure of the French electronic music scene, Chams found his calling after a lone trip through the Alps, a place he grew up surrounded by and always knew to revere, made of “sacred places where the beauty and fear of nature merge to shape a unique atmosphere of vulnerable plenitude” according to him.

 

Since that epiphany, he has been depicting his admiration for that highland through radiant yet cloudy melodies leading surging drum patterns, picturing a subtle contrast between the, obvious at first, positivity and confidence coming from beaming synths, and darker impulses in the form of reverberated speeches and howls, resembling the echo of a vast mountain valley.

Based in Hong Kong but raised by the internet, Kelvin T is an electronic musician utilising music as the means to deliver tangible sonic experiences.

 

Born as Tang Fong Ching Kelvin, he has been honing his craft of music production since 16 years old, seeking new sounds every now and then. He first joined the Shanghai-based label Genome 6.66 Mbp in 2016 and Hong Kong-based label Absurd TRAX on the same year. Performed in Boiler Room’s first event in Hong Kong and in Sonar Hong Kong’s 2017 & 2018 event, Kelvin T still felt the need to propel musically, both from within himself and beyond himself.
