“Read a story”
When the world was young, Goddess Nu Wa created the perfect person, and disappeared.
A few years later, the Lion God who guards Mount Buzhou accidentally found at foot of the mountain village, a lively and lovely little girl Wuse unexpectedly has no heartbeat!
It turned out that it was Nu Wa who traveled through the world with the help of the Wuse to mend the sky.
The news reached Heaven and the gods were outraged.
The Lion God was ordered to tear down Buzhou Mountain
The sky was broken, the world is flooding
In the chaos, Wuse experienced --
People gather together fighting flood;
Man and beast make enemies friends;
Man and God are in stalemate.
At that critical moment, the mother use herself mending the sky for Wuse
Wuse has heartbeat, but lost her mother
Turned back to the color stone, live in the world

A different myth
Follow your child to discover new treasures from old stories
Flood Fighting is first time to try to stand in the view of child to experience ancient mythology which is totally a sensory adventure. The artists from China, Netherlands, UK chose to take the story of Nu Wa's creation of man and mending the sky as the starting point, With the ignorance, innocence and simple emotion of human childhood, a period of joys and sorrows that people, gods and animals experience around "the sky breaks the water" is freely developed.

A New Body Language Enliven the Unique Skills of Our Ancestors
The performers are a group of children from the Beijing Acrobatic Troupe. Their bodies inherit the long history of stunts, growing memories of the glory of the international highest podium and the pride of the global tour, However, "Flood Fighting" made them happy to find that "the original body can be imaginative," and let us marvel that the original Chinese acrobatics can also tell the story of moving the world.

Different parent-child communication:
Since life is mixed, why not children's drama?
Children's play can only be happy reunion? "Flood Fighting" is more like a ballad without words. It depicts family, friendship and love. Intentionally or unintentionally, the human nature, animality and divinity of every ordinary individual lurking and changing in daily and extreme environments.
"Unlike children's drama," children's dramas tell the story of Chinese myths that have stepped down from the altar. Maybe it will let us and children see more shadow of the present life, and accept the body as it is.
