On this day trip, we will be hopping over to Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in China and an excellent location for year round hiking!
We will be exploring the beautiful scenic area with tea hills, check out local villages, and try delicious local food. The hiking time can range from 3 to 5 hours, depending the route taken.

07:50 – Meet at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
08:15 – Hop on the train for Hangzhou
09:20 – Arrive at the station and head over to a tea museum to learn more about its history and culture
10:30 - Hop on board and go to check out the tea growing area
11:00 -Take a short hike from “9 Creeks and 18 Gullies” over to a Tea Village
12:30 – Local specialty lunch at a local farmers house in the village
13:30 – Continue our awesome hike through beautiful nature to another tea village
18:38 – Board train and return to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station

What you need to bring:
PASSPORT, camera/gopro, energy snacks, hiking boots(highly recommended), water bottle, mosquito repellent, energy snacks, sunscreen, small daypack, jacket for cooler weather, rain gear (just in case) and sunglasses.
Note: If your passport is in the visa office for processing, please bring the slip of paper given to you by the authorities along with a photocopy of your passport with you on the trip. This paper can be used for domestic travel instead of a passport.
