This is an easy sea kayak trip in protected waters which will cover about 10 km’s paddling around the inner islands of the UNESCO Global Geopark. Our trip departs the beach in Sai Kung, heading east into Shelter Bay. Just off-shore lies two of the most historically significant islands in Hong Kong, Sharp and Yin Tin Tsai.
Sharp island is significant because of it’s global geological significance (see below) and Yim Tin Tsai because of its cultural and historical significance. We explore both, discovering the secrets of each.
