Ying Huang, a renowned lyric coloratura soprano and opera singer, is one of the outstanding Chinese vocal artists who has been active worldwide in opera and concert performances, TV and movie productions as well as recording studios. Her tender and sweet voice, flexible and unassailable technique, authentic musical styles and impassioned stage performances have won accolades worldwide from colleagues, audiences and the media, who hail her as "the nightingale from China."

Born in Paris in 1955, Michel Dalberto began playing the piano at the age of three and a half. He gave his first concert at five-and-a-half years. Then at thirteen, he joined Vlado Perlemuter's class at the Conservatoire de Paris.

 

At the age of 20, he won the 1st Mozart Competition in Salzburg and received the Clara Haskil Prize unanimously. The first prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition was awarded in 1978.

 

He is invited to play in most European music centres with conductors such as Erich Leinsdorf, Kurt Masur, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Charles Dutoit, Sir Colin Davis, Yuri Temirkanov Daniele Gatti. Also in major festivals such as Lucerne, Aix-en-Provence, Edinburgh, La Roque d'Anthéron, Newport, Miami, Seattle...
