Let’s go… to incredible Inner Mongolia!!! Hop on a camel and ride through the desert while watching the sunset, set up camp in the desert with an awesome bonfire party, head to the grasslands for a unique hike and stay in traditional Mongolian Yurts, watch horse races, hang out with a local family, watch (or even participate) in a Mongolian wrestling match, check out a Tibetan temple, and more!!!

Day 1 

17: 25 - Board our flight from Shanghai to Hohhot (people from other cities can meet us in Hohhot directly)

20: 10 - Airport pickup and transfer to our hotel

 

Day 2 

08:00 - Local Breakfast

09:00 - Hop on the bus and head to the desert

12:30 - Local specialty lunch

13:00 - Ride the longest desert cable car in Asia, which drops us off in the desert

13:30 - Start our desert adventure - we will be planting trees to help combat deforestation along with some other activities in the desert

17:00 - Hop on a camel and ride into the desert, while watching the beautiful sunset

17:30 - Set up camp in the desert

18:00 - BBQ dinner in our campground

19:30 - Bonfire party in the desert & create and light our own chinese flying lanterns!

 

Day 3 

05:00 - Check out the sunrise

06:30 - Local Breakfast

07:30 - Take the desert car back to “civilization”

08:30 - Hop on the bus and head to the grasslands where we will meet a local farmer

09:30 - Stop for hot showers along the way

13:00 - Local specialty lunch

15:00 - Continue our adventure with some traditional competitive games - watch a horse race and Mongolian wrestling (you can even try out your wrestling skills with the locals if you dare)

15:30 - Traditional Mongolian welcome with local drinks and Mongolian folk songs

16:00 - Go local - Check into our very traditional mongolian yurts - we are taking you away from the typical tourist accommodation with this one and sleeping mongolian style.

17:00 - Take a hike through the grasslands,drink local milk tea,learn how to make mongolian dumplings,  and other activities

18:30 - Local special dinner

19:00 - Bonfire party in the grasslands complete with horsehead fiddle performance

 

Day 4 

05:00 - Sunrise in the grasslands

07:00 - Local Breakfast

08:00 - Hop on the bus and head to Hohhot

09:30 - Check out the ancient Tibetan Lama Temple

12:00 - Local specialty lunch

13:00 - Wander through an awesome ancient street

14:30 - Head back to the airport

17:05 - Catch our flight back
