Conductor: Ovidio Balan
Acclaimed as one of the greatest conductors coming out of the Eastern European tradition, Ovidiu Balan has a well-known and reputable career in Europe, where he holds the following positions: Executive Director, Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Bacau Symphony Orchestra, Romania, since 1968, Principal Conductor of the Ploiesti Symphony Orchestra, Romania, since 1995, and Music Director of the Domenico Cimarosa Symphony Orchestra in Aversa, Italy, since 1996.
Born in 1942, he studied first at the High School of Music, and then at the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatory in Bucharest, from which he graduated summa cum laude in 1968. In 1970, he studied with Jean Fournet and Marius Constant at the International Courses in Hilversum, Holland, and in 1971, he attended the summer courses of the Nice Music Academy, France, with Fernand Quattrochi.
Soprano: Venicia Sandria Rasmussen
Italian-Danish Soprano Venicia Sandria Rasmussen has been praised by the Frankfurter Bergsträsser Anzeiger „she sings with pure emotion..with lovely sounding emphasis and bright colors in the warm midrange.“ In the 2019/2020 season, she debutes the role of Rusálka with Cultura Immanuel and of Violetta et al. in China Opera Tournee with Orchestra Abruzzese.
Tenor: Gianluca Sciarpelletti
Born in Rome he is an Italian American of origin, mother of Boston, Gianluca Sciarpelletti is the tenor considered the new Pavarotti.

Among the finest orchestras in the country, the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the largest cultural organization in Italy. Since its inception in 1970, the orchestra has received critical acclaim for artistic excellence and has distinguished itself as one of the leading Mediterranean orchestras.
The IPO consists of 65 full-time members and can be enlarged to 90 players if needed. It gives around 60 concerts each season as well as many international tours. It has performed in Germany, Holland, Austria, Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Portugal and the United States.
