Theme: 80’s Retro Disco
Teens of the 80’s were dominated by the songs of Deng Lijun, cassette recorders and disco. Of course, compared with the present, it is undoubtedly the “old stone age”, but when we were young, we all expected humans to fly in 20 years time.

It’s time to come back to the quirks and charms of the 80’s! Antique TV sets and 80’s fashion will be on display. Let it bring back memories of the fun and carefree times.

 

Step 1: Retro Makeup
Bright colours, wild eyebrows and those retro red lips. On the day of the event, you will be given a 10-minute makeup session to make you fit right into the crowd!

 

Step 2: Retro Photo Gallery
Everyone’s taken those vintage studio photos where you pose in various positions. We’ve invited the classic portrait photographer, Mr. Shen, to document the night in his retro large format film camera, giving us instant photos with a vintage feel.

 

Step 3: Fashion
Fashion is a cycle, oversized t-shirts and jeans have been the trend in the past two years. Doesn’t this trend remind you of the 80’s? We’ve invited mystery fashion judges to crown the most beautiful retro wear and the winner will also receive gifts and packages from major brands.

 

 

Step 4: Antique exhibition
Showing everyday items from the 80’s, bringing you warm feelings of familiarity and take a stroll down memory lane.

 

Step 5: Eating and Drinking
Milk tea and MEE honey water await you as you come to party and dance with us!

 

 

 

The collaboration with Goolang party decorators will back the oh so familiar soda stalls that will bring back happy summer memories!

Expect to participate in a milk drinking contest brought to you by the Welfare Society with the Australian fresh milk ‘Natuca’.
