Nestled in the bamboo forest, Shambala guest house is the perfect location to get away from the city for some quiet time with your family or loved ones. The soul of Moganshan can be felt the moment you step into the fresh mountain air. You witness the friendly locals working their vegetable gardens, original stone buildings that line the streets, crystal clear streams that flow along the roadside. November too is a beautiful time to witness the forest changing into its autumn colors as it prepares for winter. The quiet, tranquility of the place is far removed from the fast paced life of city living. It truly is a magical place.
We will be offering the following itinerary during the weekend (It is flexible; we find in Moganshan there is no need for fixed plans!). If you prefer to not join in certain activities it's entirely your choice. The weekend is for you to do what makes you feel most relaxed!
Itinerary
• Three (beginner level) yoga sessions. As part of the classes you will learn special breathing and meditation techniques designed to combat stress.
• Mountain bike rides (beginner level), we will ride to an old temple, through rice fields, tea plantations, and to a beautiful lake.
• For those who preferring trekking, we have expert guides to lead you on walks through the surrounding forests and mountain trails.
• Fresh and healthy meals will be provided. Much of what we eat is grown locally, and we invite you to join us in the kitchen for some family style cooking or simply sit back, and wait to be served!
• At night, lie down with something warm and enjoy the variety of movies we have showing on the big screen!
• As part of our eco conscious movement we will also host an upcycling workshop. You can hand make your own bag from an old pair of jeans. (bring your own pair or material can be provided.)
