As one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of ballet, Swan Lake is the ballet with the largest number of performances, the largest number of audiences and the widest range of influence of any ballet company in the world. Swan Lake is considered synonymous with the art of ballet!

At 19:30 January 7, 2022, at Shanghai Grand Theatre, Liaoning Ballet presents the classic ballet "Swan Lake" choreographed by Vladimir Malakhov and performed by an all-star cast.

Born in KRIVOY ROG, Ukraine, Vladimir Malakhov became the youngest principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet in 1986. He is known as the "Dancer of the Century" by the media for his decades of achievements around the world.

In the creation of this choreography, Malakhov combined the physical conditions of Liaoning Ballet's performers and made improvements to many dance sections, whether solo, duet or group dances, all of which are new, unique, highlighting, both classical and contemporary, and highly infectious. In addition, this version also redefines the magic passage, making the audience familiar and occasionally surprised during the whole process of the play. The different poignant ending gives the audience more space to imagine and define the romance between the prince and the princess in their own hearts.
