The creative collective, ZJZM, endeavors to narrate and redefine social phenomena that pervade the modern era through original, provocative and artistic creations. The collective has successfully curated a number of interactive exhibitions, from “The Legit Dumpling House” to “Urban Cave” to “Sober Animals”, greatly expanding the public and popular imagination, while weaving threads of empathy and humor through the shared human experience.

 

 

The psychedelic journey begins at the MAD CAMP reception desk, where guests check in, are given a special diagnosis, and thus challenged to confront a myriad of ailments that we all experience. Hyper digitized images, magnified structural pieces, and multi-media installations are a few of the artistic elements that drive visitors into sensory overload, deconstructing and exploring themes and representations of what makes us human, and what unites us all.

 

 

MAD CAMP is a self-referential and interactive exhibition, willingly delving into dimensions of the known and the unknown, and inviting guests to navigate the maze of numerous social issues. Once visitors successfully traverse and confront the internal and external dilemmas of our world, they are given a special antidote at the end of the exhibition. 

 

 

Each individual space at MAD CAMP seeks to humanize the society that we all face, fostering self-exploration and empathy as part of the journey. Remedies, although temporary, are meant to help us all, and there is never any shame in confronting our truths. Remember, “it’s okay to not be okay”.
