A box arrives in an empty space! What could be inside? Aha! Wool!
Pulling out the thread, the actors weave themselves and the children into the wondrous world of wool.
This playful performance explores what wool can do, what we can make from it, how we can play with it and how the shapes that it makes can stimulate the imagination.
Balls of wool, knitting needles, a huge tangle of yarns – the four performers try out different things and search for the meaning.
With a lot of self-irony and humour, they follow the material and develop their own rules. Failure is par for the course – just as much as the joy in pulling oneself back up, in never giving up and in trying out new things again and again.

Our mission is to create an original repertoire of South African productions, inspirational performance events and effective educational processes that emphasise the primacy of the human body in the act of theatre.
