Mario Alonso
Born in 1983 in Madrid, Spain, Mario Alonso studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid with Prof. Joaquín Soriano and Prof. Fernando Puchol, completing his undergraduate studies; from 2008 to 2010, he attended the Master's Degree Program at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts in Utrecht, the Netherlands, where he studied with pianist Aquiles delle Vigne. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Mario studied at the Rotterdam-Undrecht Academy of Fine Arts for his Master's Degree under the tutelage of pianist Aquiles delle Vigne; from 2011 to 2012, Mr. Mario entered the Master Class of the International Piano Academy of Imola, Italy, under the tutelage of Riccardo Risaliti; Mr. Mario received his Ph.
Mr. Mario has won 15 international and domestic awards, such as: Panama International Piano Competition in 2006, Gold Medal; Liszt Piano Competition, Italy, 2010; Ennio Porrino Piano Competition, Cagliari, Italy, 2007; San Sebastian International Piano Competition, Spain, 2003; Valencia International Piano Competition, Spain, 2005, and so on, all of which have achieved extraordinary honors. The honors are all remarkable. It is worth mentioning that in 2005 and 2008, in view of Mr. Mario's outstanding contribution to the Spanish piano music, the then Queen Sofia of Spain awarded him the Madrid Youth Medal for Music, and since 2015, Mr. Mario has been repeatedly invited to perform at the grand theaters in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Chengdu, Changsha, Fuzhou, Qingdao, Kunming, Taiyuan, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Chongqing, Nanning, etc. He has also been invited to perform at the International Piano Competition in Beijing.
