MATTHEW LAW is a Philadelphia-bred DJ, member of Illvibe Collective, and torchbearer for the city’s rich, party rocking legacy cemented by DJs Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money, Questlove, King Britt and Aktive. 

 

MATTHEW was exposed to an array of musical styles during childhood - from Classical to Avant-Garde Jazz, Psych Rock and 70s Funk - and draws upon his vast musical knowledge and b-boy background during DJ sets. 

 

 

Since 2009, MATTHEW LAW has been entertaining audiences in cities across the globe including dates opening for Migos, Kendrick Lamar, De La Soul, J. Cole，Higher Brothers and others. 

 

MATTHEW has spun The Annual Roots Picnic in front of 10,000+ festival goers. Outside of Philadelphia, he has toured extensively with artists including Black Thought (of The Roots), Grammy-nominated singer Jazmine Sullivan, Korean Hip-Hop/Trap sensation Keith Ape and comedian Dave Chappelle. 

 

 

His versatility allows for a seamless transition from dance floor to stage, where he executes the precision routines that have become his calling card as a widely-respected selector. MATTHEW counts the 2013 Red Bull ThreeStyle East Coast Championship amongst his many accomplishments to date.
