As the surprise section of the Great World of Performing Arts - 2025 Shanghai International Musical Theatre Festival, the 2025 Star Concert Series will bring together the star performers of German-Austrian, London West End and French-language musical theatre, with special guests and friends, to sound the first horn of the 2025 Shanghai Culture Square annual season. Cecilia Cara and Damien Sargue, the stars of French-language musical theatre, are best known to audiences for their roles as Juliet and Romeo respectively in Romeo and Juliet. With the show running for more than 20 years, they have become the ‘red rose’ and ‘white moonlight’ in the hearts of many viewers. When it comes to romantic duets, their voices will always echo in our ears. This duo concert will not only feature new renditions of classic songs from the play ‘Rojou’, but also a variety of famous songs and their original compositions, accompanied by a live orchestra.
