In the New Year of 2025, the much-anticipated collection of musical feasts kicks off! As the surprise section of the Great World of Performing Arts - 2025 Shanghai International Musical Theatre Festival, the 2025 Star Concert Series will bring together the star performers of German-Austrian, London West End and French-language musical theatre, with special guests and friends, to sound the first horn of the 2025 Shanghai Culture Square annual season. Seven musical theatre stars and ten spectacular performances will respond to the love and expectations of every audience, bringing a diverse musical feast to ignite enthusiasm at the beginning of the New Year!

Among the many performances at Culture Square 2024, Mark Seibert is undoubtedly a familiar face to the audience of Austro-German musical theatre. Over the past three months, he has been dressed in white as Death in Elisabeth and perfected the handsome gentleman Maxim in Rebecca the Musical Staged Concert, turning heads with every appearance.

Mark attended the Vienna Conservatory of Music, the Lee Strasberg Theatre School in New York, and was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London. During his stage career, he has performed many classic roles in a range of musicals including West Side Story, Romeo and Juliet, The Magic Wicked Witch, and All the Stars.

For this concert, Mark will be joined by two guests from the German-speaking musical theatre world - Roberta Valentini and Riccardo Greco. Roberta, who graced the stage of Plaza de Cultura in 2014 with Elisabetta, and Riccardo, who plays Lucienne, the assassin in this year's Elisabetta, will travel back in time over the years and make us relive those unforgettable moments.
