MXGP, known as the World Motocross Championship, is an international A-level competition and one of the most prestigious and popular motorcycle racing events globally. It is considered one of the four fastest and most thrilling classic motorcycle racing events globally, alongside F1, WRC, and MOTOGP.

From September 14 to 16, 2024, the MXGP World Motocross Championship will return to Shanghai, China, for the first time since its debut there in 2019. The event will be hosted at the Shanghai International Off-Road Racing Circuit, the only venue in China equipped with an off-road track meeting the international FIM standards. This year's event will feature significant upgrades, with 33 teams from 22 countries, over 70 riders, and more than 300 team personnel participating. Additionally, seven of the world's most renowned motorcycle manufacturers will directly organize clubs to participate in the event: Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, TM, and Husqvarna.
