Event details

Opening in September, 2014, Shanghai Orchestra Academy is the first institution of musical education combining academic study and apprentice-style training in China. Focusing on practice and the cultivation of professional orchestral players, the academy offers the students various opportunities of music making with celebraties. The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra was founded in 1945 in Hambug. Since 2016, this prestigious German orchestra has collaborated with Shanghai Orchestra Academy. The principles of NDR will hold master classes, practice with students of the academy, and play together in this concert.
