About Facial Oils

It seems counterintuitive to put oil on your face when most of us don’t want to look oily - especially if we already happen to have oily, acne-prone, or combination skin. Nonetheless there is a big misconception about facial oils and what they are actually good for. Oils are not there to Hydrate your skin.  A facial oil is there to help you keep the moisture that you need in your skin no matter if you have oily, dry or combination skin. All skin types need to keep their moisture in balance.  Facial oils fall in to the category of emollient moisturizers that help to strengthen and soften the outer layer of your skin. They do not replace a moisturizer, but rather support them. That is why any facial oil should be applied after cleansing and before your cream of choice! The primary function is to strengthen your skin barrier.  This oil is especially good for dry skin as it will nourish the skin deeply with its more heavy oils.

FACIAL OIL FOR DRY SKIN

Ingredients:
Sweet Almond Oil is full of Vitamin A and E, fatty acids, Zinc, protein and potassium. This will protect your skin from UV, keeps the skin smooth and healthy.
Castor oil helps to heal your skin with its antibacterial effects, it provides soothing effects and helps with chapped lips for example.

We have added as well drops of Jasmin, Cedarwood, Clary sage and Neroli. Those essential oils will help to activate natural moisture and even the skin out.

FACIAL OIL FOR OILY SKIN

Ingredients: Grapeseed oil will absorb quite quick while giving needed nutrients to your skin Jojoba oil will help to heal and rebalance your skin. It is there for damage control and has anti- inflammatory effects. We have added as well drops of Grapefruit, frankincense, tea tree and Geranium. Those essential oils will help to fight bacteria, rejuvenate and smoothen the skin.

FACIAL OIL - COMBINATION SKIN

This oil is pretty good for any skin type. When you do not have specific needs like a bigger tendency to oily or dry skin then this oils is perfect for you. It helps to nourish your skin while balancing it.

Ingredients:
Baobab Oil improves skin elasticity and helps to sooth drier skin. It contains Vitamins A,D,E and F which will help you to rejuvenate damaged skin cells. This oils is very good for skin that suffers from eczemas due to its Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. This oil quickly absorbs into the skin which is good even for oily skin.
Jojoba oil will help to heal and rebalance your skin. It is there for damage control and has anti- inflammatory effects.
