Kirsten Azan, baptized Bambii, is one of Canada’s most compelling new DJs. Whether online or on dancefloors, her political and musical vernacular give credence to dance music’s ever expanding reach, the relationships it helps forge between individuals, cultures and spaces. As proof, the last year has taken her across North America, on stages like Brooklyn’s AFROPUNK, and across Europe as a solo artist and on support for some of the world’s most relevant artists - Mykki Blanco, Kelela, and MikeQ, to name just a few. This summer, she will add Asia to her growing list of tour destinations to promote her debut, solo EP. At home, her event series ‘JERK’ is still hitting capacity and still true to its roots. Elsewhere, her work has been publicized in FLARE, Wonderland, CRACK and The FADER.

boosterhooch is a familiar figure across the scene in Glasgow, where she hosts weekly shows platforming female artists in club music on freeform station Subcity Radio, works selling records at underground institution Rubadub, and promotes nights in weird and novel venues in the city. Her reputation for playful sets spanning mostly UKG, bérite, jersey club, dancehall and UK funky has seen her play across Scotland.

She delivers experimental, energetic, trap, dancehall, heavy bass underground musicin her sets. She does not restrict herself in either music making or song choices as long as it is anexpression of oneself. Spinning across Taiwan, Hong Kong & Shenzhen. She was supporting DJfor Airmax 97, Dirty K, Aisha Devi, Mechatok, Murlo, Novelist, Dis Fig, Abyss x, Jubilee, Tzusing, Gaika etc. Together with Kelvin T represented Absurd Trax crew at Sonar Festival 2017.
