About
In the late Qin Dynasty, XIANG Yu dispatches troops for a fierce battle at Jiuli Mountain, only to get ambushed on all sides by HAN Xin, becoming trapped in Gaixia.
The Han soldiers sing Chu songs loudly in the dark of night. Concubine YU hears the sound of singing and informs XIANG Yu of this. XIANG Yu steps out of the tent and listens carefully. Aware that his day has gone, XIANG Yu walks back into the tent and drinks with Concubine YU, singing in a mournful tone.
After performing a sword dance, Concubine YU throws herself on her sword in order to clear up XIANG Yu’s worries. XIANG Yu breaks out of the encirclement and escapes to Wu River, where he commits suicide.
