This concludes the People vs series. What an amazing experience it’s been engaging with this trilogy! 

This documentary was released in 2019, screened on  MTV Base Africa and Ster - Kinekor cinemas. Shanghai will be the second place where it can be accessed.  

Some have expressed that this was a necessary cathartic experience, the filmmaker has called it a love story. This documentary looks at how the specific inner conflicts presented in the documentary exist because of the absence of a deep sense of self-worth and a lack of in-depth understanding of simple and romantic notions of love.”

A lot can be said about The  People Vs The People. It presents the idea of love as an instrument of liberation, healing and ultimately the capacity to transcend and see beyond. It has a little something for everyone but, more importantly, it displays that everyone’s individual experience matters.
