Let’s go...white water rafting + ancient village! (New!)

Let’s go rafting down the coolest rapids that Eastern China has to offer! We will be flying down rivers, visiting  an ancient village (where Chiang Kai Shek’s home was), checking out a massive Buddha in an awesome monastery,and more!!

Dates: August 4-5 (Saturday to Sunday)

Day 1 – Saturday, August 4

07:00 – Meet at Hongkou Stadium (Metro Lines 8 and 3) Exit 3, outside - follow the music!    

11:00 – Arrive at the stone village and check in to our guesthouse

12:00 – Local specialty lunch

13:00 – Leave for our rafting site

13:30 – Rafting down some amazing rapids   

15:00 – Water fight beside the river  (how does this work ...bring water guns etc?)

15:30 – Walk around Chiang Kai Shek’s hometown village and visit his former residence  

18:00 – Local specialty dinner

19:30 –  Bonfire party!!! With music & drinks .

Day 2 – Sunday, August 5

08:00 – Simple Western breakfast  

09:00 – Head over to check out the massive Xuedou Buddha in an ancient monastery  

12:00 – Local specialty lunch

13:30 – Hop on the bus and chillax on our way back home

17:30 – Arrive in Shanghai People’s Square
