Debuted in 1995, Ronald Cheng was one of the best-selling newcomers to the Hong Kong and Taiwan music scene in the 90s. Shortly after his debut, he became popular with his duet song In A Dilemma《左右为难》with ‘God of Songs’ Jacky Cheung. Subsequently, his signature song Rascal《无赖》has swept all awards at major music award shows, notably TVB's Jade Solid Gold, where it was voted the most popular song of 2005.

 

 

Being a recognized comedian-actor in the new generation of the Chinese film industry, Ronald Cheng won his first Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in Vulgaria at the 32nd Hong Kong Film Award.
