August 4 : Let's go...Scuba Diving in Taihu!!! (Near Shanghai)

Travelers Society is getting a group together to go diving near Shanghai…check out the underwater world right next door - with some awesome freshwater jellyfish.

Everyone can dive! No license required.

Dates: August 4 (Saturday)

Day 1 – Saturday - August 4

07:00 - Meet at Hongkou Stadium (Metro Lines 8 and 3) Exit 3, outside - follow the music

08:30 - Arrive at the diving shop and prepare for diving  

09:30 - Reach the Tai Lake area and change to our diving suits

10:00 - Start our awesome scuba diving adventure!

12:00 - Picnic time

13:00 - Continue our diving or swim in the water .. it’s clean!

16:00 - Local specialty dinner

18:00 - Hop on the bus back to Shanghai

20:00 - Arrive in Shanghai

This activity is weather dependant. We will check the weather forecast on Wednesday. If we can’t dive on  Saturday, we will reschedule for Sunday. Please reserve the whole weekend for this trip.

If the weather is not suitable on both Saturday and sunday, the trip will be canceled and a full refund will apply.
