Jinshan City Beach is a rare treasure in the vast sprawling metropolis of Shanghai, a man-made delight of sand and seawater. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away, you can sit and watch the sun sinking into the sea while sampling some of the freshest seafood in the city.
Jinshan is on track to becoming the city's biggest seafood market, with fresh fish coming from Shandong, Liaoning and Zhejiang provinces.
To the east of the beach, a 400-meter landscaped footpath paves the way for a leisurely walk or beautiful bike ride. They've even got amusement park rides, including a Ferris wheel. Aw yeah.

How to Get There:
- Public Transport
Take Metro Line 1 to Jinjiang Park Station, turn left out of the station, walk one minute to Southwest Bus Station, take Shimei Line or Weimei Line to Shihua Automobile Station, walk south along Weiling Rd to the end of Xincheng Rd. A 15-minute taxi ride from Shihua Automobile Bus Station to City Beach costs 7 yuan.
- Self-drive Route
1. Turn left and go south from the S4 Express toll mouth, then turn right to Jinshan Avenue, turn left at Mengshan Rd and go to the end.
2. Take G50 or G60 Express, then exchange to G15 Express to Jinshanwei Direction, turn to Pinghu (Zhejiang) direction when arriving at S4 Express, go ahead for five minutes and takeS4 Jinshan New City Exit then turn right and go along S. Songwei Rd, go south at Hangzhouwan Avenue.
