Kids aged 7 to 12 are welcomed to join us as we create a full production filled with positive messages in script and song. The course is held on Saturdays. Each day will be divided into 4 sections:

10:10am to 10:45am-Theatre training with games and exercises

11:00am to 12pm- Theatre History and Storytelling

12pm to 12:25 Lunch

12:30 to 2pm Play Rehearsal

2:20pm End of Day

Students will have a chance to explore all aspects of the theatre from improvisation to mask making to dance. The 8-week course will end in a performance for family and friends!

Each student will create a real superhero character. Together we will add songs from the Broadway musical theatre, and devise a fun-filled musical play with a touching and meaningful story.

 

THE INSTRUCTOR

Ann James is an accomplished actor, director, motivational speaker and educator who is the CEO of DreamWeaver Productions. She has lived in Shanghai for the past 5 years. With over 25 years of theatre instruction, she has shared the joy of theatre with more than 10,000 students.

Ms. James is proud to be a cast member of China's record-breaking blockbuster hit, WuJing's Wolf Warrior 2, where she plays the heartwarming role of Nessa.
