The Vice Professor in Piano Department of the China Central Conservatory of Music, Tan Xiaotang has appeared in many well known concert halls such as Sydney Opera House of Australia and National Centre for the Performing Arts of China, as well as those in France, Germany, Japan, Poland, Portugal and Morocco. He has also collaborated with a list of orchestras including Germany Bamberger Symphoniker, Japan Philharmonic, Tokyo City Philharmonic, Sendai Philharmonic, Morocco Philharmonic, China National Symphony, Shanghai Philharmonic, Beijing Symphony and so on.

 

 

Having been invited to numerous music festivals or large scale activities around the globe, Tan Xiaotang has held a number of recitals at Ravel Music Festival and Du Pays Briard in France, Meissen Piano Festival in Germany and Sendai Classical Music Festival in Japan. Tan has made records for Radio France, Bayerischer Runfunk of Germany, Japan TV, renowned classical music magazines, CCTV and China National Radio.
