Swan Lake has been staged several times at Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater stage.
First performance of Swan Lake’s second act took place in 1907 on the benefit concert in the name of O. Preobrajenskaia by Petersburg Imperial Theatre Ballet Company. Odette/Odile was performed by O. Preobrajenskaia herself, Siegfried P. Kozlov.
On March 12, 2016 Ballet Company presented an adapted choreographic version of Swan Lake.
Swan Lake tells the story of enchanted love between a swan maiden and a prince and their battle with an evil sorcerer. The poetry of this timeless ballet is the swan, embodied in every note of Tchaikovsky’s majestic score. Romantic, passionate, tragic and elegant, this great ballet speaks deeply and universally to audiences everywhere.
