Let’s go…tackle the Via Ferrata!!!

Looking for a CHALLENGE?!  We will be setting out to the countryside where we will be hooked up to steel cables and set out to walk on cliff walls along what is known as a Via Ferrata, taking an awesome hike through nature and ancient hidden villages, checking out spectacular views, dancing around a bonfire, and more!

We will be taking the road less traveled right on the cliff walls - along a via ferrata...

... hiking through the picturesque countryside...

...with breathtaking views of mountains and rice terraces...

...having a bonfire party...

...and more!!!

Day 1 

19:00 – Meet at Hongkou Stadium (Metro Lines 8 and 3) Exit 3, outside - follow the music!

24:00 – Arrival and check in to our guesthouse

Day 2 

07:30 – Simple Western breakfast

08:30 – Head over to our trekking start point

09:00 – Set out for an awesome trek through “Shangri-la of the East” for some great views of mountains, rice terraces, and local villages

12:00 – Picnic with your favorite food

13:00 – Continue trekking (15km, ~6h)

16:00 – Return to our guesthouse

18:00 – Local specialty dinner

19:00 – Bonfire party with music and drinks!

Day 3 

07:30 – Simple Western breakfast

08:30 – Check out and hop on the bus

09:30 – It’s time to “walk on walls” as we take on the Via Ferrata - 200 meters!

12:30 – Local specialty lunch

13:30 – Hop on the bus and chillax on our way back home

18:30 – Arrive in Shanghai
