“We Are Shanghai” is Shanghai's largest annual music compilation, now on it's 6th edition. Composed of 40 artists, this album captures the vast and growing music scene, with bands and musicians from every genre. This year's show will be held at the newest incarnation of Shanghai's pillar of live music, Yuyintang Park. Entrance will include a double cassette with a digital download code, with all profits going to charity. This year the show will have 7 bands representing one of Asia's most vibrant scenes.

Djing this event will be none other than Shanghai's own DJ BO.

DJ BO, ''Shanghai's #2 DJ,'' spins Asian Eclectica, Ex-Post Esquerita, and Rockabilly-Funk with aplomb. He's got a funky disposition for awkward exposition, and so is very happy to host/MC events that involve counter-cultural legends and the local scene's best alike. He recently was A&R (curator guy) for the worldwide release ''Spin Magazine Presents Indie Asia'' which just so happens to feature 3 Shanghai acts.
