Georgi Nikolov has drawn considerable critical attention and admiration as a young conductor. His decision to pursue conducting as a career was preceded by studies as a cellist and also performance experience as a singer. Through the opportunity to regularly collaborate with a number of eminent conductors and soloists, particularly during his own music studies in Vienna, he has gained invaluable performance experience, professional mentoring and additional interpretative coaching, which have greatly assisted his own conducting endeavours.
