The Experience
Join us Wednesday 19th June on the terrific rooftop of Char Bar from Hotel Indigo with the Owner and Winemaker of the trendiest winery of the South-West of France. Enjoyed in countless wine bars and restaurants, Domaine Uby is finally distributed in China, YAY!
For this evening we decided to celebrate summer with a traditional French style « Apero dinatoire ». You will taste and drink the range of UBY’s most acclaimed wines as well as two of their most sold Armagnac along with a selection of Appetizers, small and big bites.
Francois Morel, the owner of the winery will be among us to share stories and his passion for his wines. You will spend the evening with 30 wine lovers so grab a date,a partner, or fly solo and enjoy a toast with new friends!
The Venue
The Char Bar & Grill holds the top three floors of the lovely Hotel Indigo, located riverside at Shanghai on the Bund. Two floors are indoor steakhouse and bar, while the top and 30th floor hold a fantastic roof terrace. Up here you get unobstructed and amazing 270-degree views of the Huangpu River and the Pudong skyline. The restaurant (Michelin Recommended Restaurant) is known for mixing modern fusion with old classics, and especially for their excellent steaks. The terrace has quite simple decor, with mostly regular bar stools and tables. But the best thing is that most of them are right at the railing, meaning you really get front row seats and a clear-cut view over the river and the skyline. The popular Char rooftop bar comes with a vibrant and fun atmosphere.

Beautiful amber color with mahogany highlights.
The nose, which is fine and delicate, releases extraordinary aromas of candied orange and mandarin, then develops towards notes of lightly stewed plum. Ample and smooth, the palate seduces us with notes of fig, orange and cinnamon.
