Xiao Jun is a young and rising jazz guitarist and composer from Dali, in China's Yunnan province. Jun Xiao's debut album, Triangular Prism encompasses his thoughts and experiences from living in Shanghai and New York.

 

 

All eleven tracks are original compositions that were recorded in Brooklyn, New York. The album features respected musicians from the area including pianist Kevin Hays, bassist Rick Rosato, saxophonist Alex Lore, and drummer Jerad Lippi. Triangular Prism was mixed by three-time Grammy Award winner Dave Darlington and will be presented by JZ Music in December 2017 with distribution by Sony Music China.
