Born in Jerusalem, Yaron Kohlberg is one of Israel's leading pianists. Described by world media as 'the pianist with the golden hands', he played over 800 concerts on major stages of 40 countries to critical acclaim. Among the venues, Kohlberg performed in, are the Kremlin in Moscow, Carnegie Hall in NYC, the UN Hall in Geneva and the Beethoven Halle in Bonn.
Kohlberg is the prize winner of 10 international competitions, including a 2nd prize at the Cleveland international competition and first prize in the Parnassos international Competition.
Kohlberg, a fluent speaker of 6 languages, currently lives in China where he is represented by the Chinese TV and presents concerts and masterclasses in Chinese throughout the country. In his performances, Kohlberg combines classical music together with special virtuoso piano versions of world music.
Student of Luisa Yoffe, Eitan Globerson and Arie Vardi, he holds a master degree from the Tel Aviv University.
