In 1991 a group of enthusiastic people established a theater project in Spain that over the next 20 years would take them all over the world. No one could have imaged where these shows would have taken them, and thus ¡Muu!, their first production was born.

 

 

¡Muu!2 is a satire about the world of bullfighting, the sense of honor, the macho posturing, the bravery, the motherland, the national festival and animal cruelty, wrapped up in the sacred, indomitable values involved in a rite which, well into the 21st century, pits man against beast in the manner of the Roman circus. Twenty years after its premiere the controversy surrounding bullfighting rages on stronger than ever.

 

In the show, the distinguishing features of the company can already be seen: the awareness of comedy, the sense of rhythm, the use of sound as an extra character, its very direct style, the roguish attitude of its production, and even the makeup of the characters.
